So you're probably wondering where I get all my clothes that fit so well.. simple answer. Uniqlo and Jcrew.

However, if you are not wanting to splurge your whole paycheck on Jcrew, then Uniqlo is your better bet. The brand is japanese and is all about super minimalism. So is the price for each piece.. Ranging from 29.50 for a dress shirt that fits amazingly well to 99.99 for a blazer. Its relatively good quality with good fabric at a great price.

I'm sure you've seen Looper with JGL by now.. I'm sure you noticed the impeccable wardrobe worn by Joe, so did I... (no homo)

One of the main looks that jump out as "classy as fuck" to me was the slacks, tie, and leather jacket combo. This is definitely a mix between rock&roll and "I have a fucken six figure job". If you have a chance to get your hands on a slim bomber with a collar (can also go moto) go ahead and pair it with a tie. Then if you walk confidently into a bar and the ladies see you in this combo, bartenders are going to have to put out "caution wet floor signs" all night.

Go Brazilian!

Waxing an object does not always mean taking a layer off... Sometimes, it means adding a layer on. Waxed jeans lay on the further end of the wacky spectrum of fashion. The waxed trend started with the reintroduction of skinny jeans to fashion. The most notable designer to push the look was Dior Homme's Heidi Slimane. The designer that led the House of Dior into the top spot for men's wear. He took the androgyny and "heroin hero" look back to the runways and they loved him for it.

The concept of waxed jeans does not veer too far from the rock-n-roll star look. Skinny jeans that have a little pop and are $300+. Definitely "rock-star". Now if you are asking yourself, "how can I get a rockstar look with a cockstar budget?" Well, this blog DIY Waxed Jeans has a tutorial on how to breathe new life into an older pair of jeans.

Here are a few more pictures of waxed jeans to let you guys get a better idea of the look.

Good Ole Gap, Diamond in the Rough?

With the fairly recent change up at the designer level at Gap, the company has really taken a new marketing approach with their denim line. The brand is now boasting about the craftsmanship that goes into every pair of jeans.

While I have always been a customer at Gap for most of my life. I started to gravitate away from the brand after highschool. I'm not sure why I moved away from the brand. It could have been because I associated the brand with low quality made in china and the styling to be too conservative and bland.

After graduating college in 2010, I revisited the American staple. I can safely say that the brand has reinvented its denim line and updated the cuts as well as the quality. Below are my favorite picks ranging from skinny, slim to straight. In addition to the great new line, the prices aren't bad. Just make sure to look for 30% off coupons! All the jeans below are sub $60 after any discounts online.

Notice how the jeans are all slim but not too skinny aka "spray painted on". Also, the dark pigment lends each pair a sophisticated look. The beauty of these jeans is that you do not wash them every week. You need to wear them often and just soak the jeans in cold water if they get too dirty. After a year of wear, you can machine wash normally and you will achieve some AMAZING fades that are unique to only YOU.

Maybe consider revisiting your local Gap and trying on a pair.

Taste the Rainbow

While classic black is the safest go-to color choice for leather jackets. There are alternatives such as brown or even tan. Below are my favorite picks for jackets that will provide your wardrobe some pop!

The following jackets below range from $800 - $2000. While the designer price tags may scare a few people off, consider the jacket as a staple piece in your wardrobe. Currently, I am trying to get my hands on the Temple of Jawnz jacket. The model is named "Minimalist Double Rider" for its lack of bells and whistles. The cost is approx. $760 shipped.
